The Department offers classroom instruction by thebest-qualified EE faculty, hands-on experience inindustry-sponsored state-of-the-art laboratories, and opportunitiesfor industry internships. The Department has over 500 undergraduateand 450 graduate students.Both EE undergraduate and graduate programs support students toobtain professional experience while taking classes. A PhD or ScDdegree in Electrical or Computer Engineering or a closely relateddiscipline is required to teach graduate-level courses.Knowledge of the subject matter of the discipline to which theindividual is assigned.Evidence of satisfactory achievement in previous academicwork.Applicants should demonstrate an awareness of and sensitivityto the educational goals of a multicultural population as mighthave been gained in cross-cultural study, training, teaching andother comparable experience.
