Peters, Henry Ramos, Travis Taijeron LOS ANGELES – The Dodgers extended spring training invitations to 22 non-roster players including nine with major-league experience and six of their top prospects.Catchers Keibert Ruiz and Will Smith lead the group of top prospects who will get their first extended taste of big-league camp this spring along with outfielders D.J. Peters (last year’s California League MVP) and Yusniel Diaz and infielders Jake Peter (acquired from the Chicago White Sox earlier this month) and Edwin Rios.The group with major-league experience is led by journeyman reliever Mark Lowe who has made 382 relief appearances with six teams over 11 seasons (most recently the Detroit Tigers in 2016) and Pat Venditte, most famous for being a switch-pitcher – he throws right- or left-handed depending on the batter he is facing.The full list of non-roster invitees:last_img
