first_imgPort Moresby Billiards and Snooker Association president John Chan said Bawa’s participation over the years in the premier corporate competition, Port Moresby Open and the PNG men’s national titles were valued.“He was a very good player and very professional in his approach in the way he dressed to every game.“He was always punctual which is a lesson I hope many snooker players can learn from,” said Chan.PNGBSA treasurer Roger Wilson described Bawa as a true professional policeman who fitted in well with other players during games.“Despite his 24 hour on call job, Andy still had time to enjoy a game and mingle with his snooker family,” said Wilson.PNGBSA president Peter Fong said Bawa was an exceptional individual who showed true professionalism on and off during snooker games.“His competitiveness will be missed but hope he starts up snooker in the Highlands. We will support him in that area if he does,” said Fong.last_img
