first_img1 Inter Milan goalkeeper Samir Handanovic has opted to stay in Serie A and will not be moving to Manchester United, according to his agent. The Slovenian international, who could come up against England in this week’s European Championship qualifier, is reportedly closing in on a new deal with the San Siro side.Handanovic, 30, is out of contract at the end of next season and has been touted as the man who could replace Real Madrid-bound David De Gea.“These are only rumours and media speculation,” Handanovic’s agent, Federico Pastorello, told FcInterNews.“Nothing is true with regard to Manchester United, I’ve never talked to them. I can’t rule out Samir going to Old Trafford though (because) of course the transfer market is unpredictable.“Obviously interest from other clubs gives us pleasure, but Samir wants to win with Inter.
