Elections 2019: Ciaran Brogan wins first seat in Letterkenny

first_imgCiaran Brogan has topped the poll for Letterkenny in the local elections 2019.The Fianna Fáil man returns to Lifford to continue his 20-year-long political career.The Letterkenny business owner took 1,570 of the first preference votes in the electoral area. The quota is set at 1464. Ciaran Brogan and familySpeaking to Donegal Daily, Brogan said he was very proud to be elected on the first count: “It’s down to the team. I’m very lucky from the start. It’s hard to believe it’s 20 years since I first stood in an election. A lot of things has changed.“It was a tough campaign with people who I’m friendly with in Rally circles, Manus Kelly, Kevin Bradley.
