first_imgThe Australian Men’s Open squad will get an amazing opportunity on Saturday night, when they play in a curtain raiser for the World Club Challenge match at Allianz Stadium. The squad will play in an intra-team demonstration match at 6.30pm on Saturday night before the Sydney Roosters and Wigan Warriors play at 8.00pm.The team will be joined by former NRL stars Joe Galuvao and Dean Widders. Australian Men’s Open coach, Tony Trad says the team is excited at the prospect of showcasing their skills in front of a large crowd. “To play in front of a big crowd will be a big enough thrill but it’s probably the first or second time the game has come to Australia in years so it’s just a really special event. To be given an opportunity to play at such an event is fantastic, it’s a great opportunity,” Trad said. New South Wales referees Luke Saldern, Billy Greatbatch and Luke Heckendorf will officiate the game.Stay tuned to the TFA website and social media pages for all of the latest from the Australian Men’s Open squad at the World Club Challenge:Website – www.austouch.com.auFacebook – www.facebook.com./touchfootballaustralia Twitter – www.twitter.com/touchfootyaus Instagram – www.instagram.com/touchfootballaustraliaRelated LinksWorld Club Challengelast_img
