Lenovo reveals 4 new ThinkPads boasting nextgen Core series processors

first_imgLenovo‘s letting out all the stops at this year’s CES: they’re unveiling no less than five new ThinkPads this year… not only the button-cute, 11-inch ThinkPad X120e but a 12.5-incher, two 14-inchers and even a 15-incher.On the 12-inch side of things, there’s the ThinkPad Edge E220s, boasting an attractive new design, support for superior web conferencing, Dolby Sound and boasting a Sandy Bridge Intel Core series CPU.Next up is the ThinkPad Edge E420, which has a 14-inch display, an “updated” design that doesn’t trade in the ThinkPad line’s classical good looks and, of course, a Sandy Bridge Intel Core series processor. The 420S is more or less the same, except with the aforementioned superior web conferencing and Dolby Sound, as well as a more radical redesign. Finally, there’s the ThinkPad Edge E520, which has a 15-inch display, an updated design and another Sandy Bridge Core series processor. Otherwise, specs on all these notebooks are still hard to come by, but the ThinkPad Edge E220S and E420S will start selling in April beginning at prices of $899 and $749, respectively; the Edge E420 and E520 will also start selling in April and start at prices of just $599.last_img
